red++, polished crystal, nameless fire red project, theta emerald, sacred gold, and blaze black are updated versions of red, crystal, fire red, emerald, heart gold, and black respectively. the first four are of particularly high quality, with polished crystal being my favorite. all of the hacks have the physical special split, nameless fire red project and theta emerald have all pokémon through gen 6
