FireRed LeafGreen thread

Can't evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon, even after getting the National Dex, because of the lack of a real time clock. They could have at least made it a version exclusive thing where one game could get Espeon and the other could get Umbreon at max happiness to make up for that.

I love kanto, the lack of Mary Sue characters, the more open-ended and exploration based progression, the original 150 have a lot of great designs (poison is my favorite type so you can imagine). Also, on a personal note, nostalgia because I am a genwunnerfag.

Dislikes:
They should have allowed crossgen evolution before the national dex. That was dumb.

That would've only allowed Golbat to evolve into Crobat. Espeon and Umbreon are unobtainable in FR/LG due to the absence of a time system. It's not that big of a deal.

I hate how common the FireRed rom base is for hacks. I'm fucking sick it of it. The reason we won't have Gen 3 level hacking for Gen 4 or 5 any time soon is because of the bloated FR hacking scene.
