I actually don't mind Brionne, it's just Primarina that gets kind of distasteful to me. People see it as gentle and caring, but for some reason, I tend to associate it more as acting Lusamine-y (for lack of a better term) and really proud (like the OHOHOHO kind). It's odd actually, Brionne reminds me of Lillie while Primarina reminds me of Lusamine as we know her (at least, until we find out about her being manipulated and her actually not being a bitch). It's kinda projecting, but eh.

Mermaids and sirens aren't exactly sweet and caring either, since they would bring sailors to their demise with their songs. So the thought of raising a young sea lion pup to a possibly nasty blend of a siren and sea lion is kind of unnerving to me. Popplio's cute and Brionne still manages to act cute and happy but then Primarina comes and I see it in a whole other way.

Sorry dude but not sure I believe you, while things do get changed up in the deluxe versions, a lot of your points you made seem too farfetched. Why would they not do A NY T H I NG to the Johto starters when they purposely are releasing the VC for GS a month before. People associate Gen 2 with those starters, and given the current state of affairs with a lot of players made at them GF TPCi would be beyond stupid not to pull some tie in between the two. If I had to guess, they might or should have where if and when you port your GS VC starter to USUM, it unlocks a hidden event where you get the mega stones...er Z form stones, from it to use. Yes I get it could also be to promote new Alolan forms for them and others blah blah, but I doubt with there being two games not just one and people already beyond pissed at them for E3 they wouldn't do some fan service to help make us happy again and not go for their jugulars. Plus why not bring mega evolutions back into the lime light, it actually fits well with the lore of Alola, and themes for SM and Pokemon in general.

Also doubt they would rename mega evolutions to Z forms, cause they are super recent and that would mean a LOT of stuff would have to be redone if they ever did reprints of cards, posters, plushies etc. be simpler just not to bother with that or wait later on to rebrand them. My other big gripe is that while a lot of your points do make sense, a lot of them do not. Yes it might be an alternate story, but not everything drastically changed to the points it's like what you are claiming. And even if you can draw these designs out, time and time again so called leakers have been found out to be bullshiting such designs just to seem more legit.just saying.
