Clover's probably going to get completed in late 2017 or early 2018. Afterwards, there will be several bug fixes lasting well into late 2018. When the devs decide that enough bugs have been fixed, they will, at last, move on to their next project.

When the devteam can figure out what the fuck it's going to be. I've heard Ruby, Emerald, and Essentials all being thrown around as potential candidates for the engine. Odds are, they'll use DG's Clover Quest spinoff as a base and just build it up from there.
