To be fair, she's also hella irrelevant in the anime, barring a few episodes. The stars are Ash, his Pokemon, Kiawe, Lillie, and fucking Rotomdex, for whatever reason. Mallow, Lana, Soph, and pretty much everybody else are mostly irrelevant.

She appears three times: First in the Brooklet Hill, after defeating Totem Wishiwashi she gives you the Fishing Rod (The worst Fishing Rod in the whole franchise. You'll find it when you buy the games.). Second, in Lush Jungle after getting all the items. And Last, in her house in Konikoni City, were you can only battle her once.

To be quite honest, even Youngster Tristan is more relevant than her.

Not enough to be worth it. Unlike some characters once she's completed her interactions with you you'll never see her again. She doesn't have an idle place on the map and just disappears from the world.
