Sun and Moon's soundtrack was so hit and miss. You have amazing tracks like Lillie's theme and Vast Poni Canyon, but then you have mobile game garbage soundtracks like the trainer encounter theme and the desert theme. It's also the first time where the midi instruments became too noticeable, in my opinion.

The "important" tracks are hit and miss as well, Solgaleo/Lunala/necrozma's themes, UB theme, Tapu spirits theme.

The only good battle themes are Aether grunt battle and Grand trial battle.
