Gyarados vs. Milotic

Both have the same stats but distribuited differently. Gyarados goes offensive, Milotic goes deffensive. Milotic has a full set of abilities (aka 3), while Gyarados can Mega Evolve and become bulkier. Gyarados' flagship set is Mega Gyarados with Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Crunch, and Ice Fang. Milotic's flagship set is Rest, Sleep Talk, Scald, and Ice Beam.

This gen a new Gyarados clone was introduced: Wishiwashi. It is a worse clone of Gyarados that has an ability that is almost non-existant, has no notable moves, and it reverts to Zero when its Max HP is less than 25%.

Gyarados and M-Gyarados are BL, Milotic is RU. Wishiwashi School is PU.

Milotic. Gyarados' Intimidate fucks your encounter rate and if you aren't seeing wild pokemon every five steps you'll never see any shinies. Unless you have HA Gyarados, in which case, train that one because Moxie is super fun.
