How well integrated are pokemon into human society?
Can they own property? Do they use the internet, tv or other electronic devices?
Do they have rights?
only smart ones like alakazam
the others will be treated like animals protected by peta or some shit

I have my doubts that they can own property, yet.
But I can imagine some of the more humanoid, intelligent ones being more than able to enjoy stuff like watching TV, maybe even playing vidya and shit.
Some Pokemon are obviously more intelligent than others, but I think they're all more intelligent than the average real life animal.
Pikachu is a freaking giant mouse for peetes sake, and in the anime, he's always dancing around, communicating with gestures, sometimes he even knows how to use random pieces of technology better than ash. Not that that's saying much..
I really love penis. Like so much. It's a wonder I could even type this. It's really hard to take my hands off another guys wiener.
I'm sure they have rights. Animals in our world have some rights and they are getting more and more.
Pokémon must have even more than that. Most are far more sapient and intelligent than any animal.
Owning land seems unlikely though. Pokémon want a loving and good trainer, who would most likely have lodging. Plus the wild ones have little desire to own land, and while most mons are smarter than animals, they probably wouldn't really understand a mortgage.
That leaves the mons smarter than humans, like Mewtwo, who can create his own island. Or just live in a cave...
