Don't have a drawn pic but I had an idea of a rabbit line that did this. Started akin to the snow bunnies japan makes with leaves, which would look more withered (dead leaves used for kindling).
Final stage had it bipedal, with its ears engulfed in flame and red stripes along its fur. Debated including an ice mochi mallet which would be hallow on one end to be like a flame snuffer.
Something along the lines that it gets heated in combat, igniting its ears for intimidation factor, and using its hammer to return to norrmal.

I always wanted an Ice/Fire-type based on the Ice and Fire giants of Norse mythology. It's a giant in a state of perpetual duality, and it's warlike. It would certainly fall victim to the "slow defensive Ice-type" bit, but I still really like the idea of it.

Night form of some cactus-mon? Releases moisture in form of ice crystals that seem like a diamond dust/fog that accumulate back to its ice flower (flower stigma is crystalline) once sun rises. I actually had a dream of crystals "exploding" into a spray when the sun came up in a desert, glad I could put it to use somehow.

Except stunfisk isn't a flounder, it's only based on one. Stunfisk is stunfisk, and stunfisk are found, according to the pokedex "in the mud of the seashore.". It may live in a semi aquatic environment but it can't harness the power of water as well as it does with earth and electricity. Otherwise, it would be water type.
