ONLY complain is megas making it easier, some gimped places (Only the steven cave comes to mind as sky pillar is post game which doesn't really matter), and all the npc teleporting you aruond the beautiful region of hoenn, which is so interconnected that it's a shame you can't discover all the shortcuts on your own as they teleport you wherever you should go.

Soaring is also comfy af

pickup is the only thing that makes original RS worth playing, it's nerfed shit in emerald+

No, there is one on the first gym's town (sorry if I can't recall the eng name right now, I mostly played it in my native language as a kid), one on meteor falls, and many others as we unlock the seaside of hoenn and get to mess with the legendary pokémon and villains.

I don't know how recently you've played both games, but there are a LOT of teleport, though not every one of them is forced, you have a choice not to do that, but as my gf is playing alpha sapphire right now, I'm sorry she doesn't have to discover the region as we did as kids, cause they give her the option not to.

My main problem with ORAS was difficulty and the plot, the exact same problems I had with XY (but that had pacing issues as well). Gen 6 desperately needed a Z version to work the kinks out. Imagine if HGSS came out immediately after Diamond and Pearl while retaining the same problems, that's ORAS. I'll admit I don't hate it as much as most people on here do but lets not pretend ORAS couldn't have been better. It could of offered Emerald challenge, and had a BETTER Battle Frontier (something that was considered cheap in gen 3 could of been improved instead of saying "fuck it, it wasn't good to begin with"). I feel like a lot of the ORAS hate comes from dissatisfaction of gen 6 in general. It was a big let down, we got a core game that was a big disappointment and a remake that couldn't live up to the hype. Game Freak came and went with that gen like it was a big misstep and to some people, it was.
