I have played RBY, HGSS, BW2, and XY last year
ORAS 2 years ago and last time I visited sinnoh was 2013.
I want to play a pokémon game very much right now, but SM feels stupid since I'm gonna play alola this november, I don't want to play the same game in less than 2 years spawn, but I'm blueballing myself on sinnoh to extra enjoy the inevitable remake, and my GF is currently (very slowly) playing Alpha sapphire (I won't play ruby, I fucking hate it cause of autism I'm not gonna explain since this blogpost is already too long for my own sake).
What should I do /vp/, play sinnoh regardless of the fact that I'd enjoy it much more if I wait the remakes?
Play emerald? Sounds stupid since ORAS is better in every way anyways (Fuck battle frontier, I don't care about postgame for fun runs).
Also I was thinking about playing some sort of gimmicky run, maybe asking for random eggs around here? idk

Play Pokemon Red++, it's a romhack that includes evolutions of Kanto pokemon, BW repel system, dark/steel/fairy types, increased bag space etc. Basically everything you like about the new games, in the comfy region of nostalgia.

Start playing ROM hacks. Start with Brown and then move down the rabbit hole of absolute shit. Eventually, your least favorite official Pokémon game will start to look like a masterpiece.
