I always wanted an Ice-type Sinnohan form Lycanroc that plays off the "lone wolf" trope instead of the normal Lycanroc being a social doggo.

Pokemon reproduction works similar to the Asarii from Mass Effect, which is why the offspring is typically the mother's species.

In theory, most can even mate with a human.
