You know what, fuck it. We don't even need TMs anymore, just put a move tutor in every PokeCenter, and after you beat the latest gym/trial/whatever, you gain access to new moves.

The good coverage shit can be unlocked with beating E4/Champ etc.

Mew being able to get its hands on those would be a very bad idea. Crabhammer is just there to spite everyone but mew doesn't need it anyway.

Just make a TM for every major attacking move of every type, every major wide-distribution status move (nasty plot, leech seed, swords dance, recover, etc.) and you're good to go.

Movepools don't need to be nerfed hard, they just need to make sense. We'd be better off if toxic and stealth rock didn't have such retarded distributions, yes, but by all means they should still be TMs that a selection of mons that actually make sense could learn. That every important move is made into a TM doesn't necessarily mean that everything should get everything just because, but by having all major generic moves made inton TMs level up movepools could be desaturated from them.
