This guy needs to be replaced by me. I would give Game Freak instructions that would result in amazing, top quality and long-lasting Pokémon games, and I wouldn't give a damn about budget or profit.

That's why your not a CEO. It's all about making money.
>>32803492
I bet you would do a shitty game with all regions
>>32803732
Nah. I would do two regions with a bit extra like the Sevii Islands.
Yeah tears of joy when they charge 60 dollars a version lol

Bankrupt in a week. I would love an amazing top quality Pokemon game but at the end of the day it's all about money and maintaining it. It's easier to make decent Pokemon games from time to time to keep players entertained but dishing out a full budget Pokemon game would probably leave any other game after it trash or not as high quality and people would complain and talk shit and eventually downfall.

And that's why you're not a CEO.

First version Pokémon games sell like 15 million units. If it's necessary for Game Freak to release new barebones titles every year in order to make profit, how can a gigantic game with many years of development time like Breath of the Wild be considered a success with a comparatively measly 3m sales?

Because tpci and gamefreak is more cautious with their decisions. They have a very big franchise over their head one wrong move and everything can go sideways and fans can get upset just like what happened recently. With breath of the Wild the developers took their time with the game and scored 3m sells with it knowing that they took their time with the game to please the fans and actually make a good game, just look at the metacritic score.

The shitters at TPC must've been in tears when Kimishima told them to make that video. Obviously they would've liked to keep a secret so it doesn't make people abandon USUM.
