Levitate for magnetic pokemon like:
Magnemite line
Beldum line
Klink line
Nosepass line
When?
>>32796516
When Levitate stops being an ability and becomes an innate trait that floating Pokemon have
Magnezone is better with magnet pull.
Don't leave it on an EQ you retard

>Magnet Pull
Forces steel type to stay in
Has no real counter for steel type
Almost every other steel type can learn earthquake
Why would you actively force a mon to kick your butt?
>Levitate
No more 4x Weakness to Ground
No more Earthquake
No more Dig
But sure, magnet pull is far better on 'zone

Magneton was OU in Gen 3 and Magnezone OU since Gen 4+ for a reason anon.
Trapping is extremely powerful. Significantly more powerful than preventing a move that would normally OHKO you from even dealing damage. This is also part of why normal Gengar was solid OU last gen, but Mega Gengar was almosy banned from Ubers. Some principle.
Magnet Pull is way better on zone.

trapping is extremely powerful, yes, but only when you actually have something to fuck the opponent up.
It makes no sense to trap someone and then be like "well. I could hit you with a thunderbolt" "k then"

Skarmory, Ferrothorn, Mega Mawile, Celesteela, and mega Scizor are all major threats in OU that magnezone has an advantage against
>>32796872
I can see Skarmory and Celesteela, with the flying type being weak against electric and all, but where's the counter against the rest? especially ferrothorn?
>>32796943
Hidden Power Fire. 240 base power against the 4x weak steels.
>>32796781
>>32796823
HP fire, it's basically required on any magnezone due to its shallow offensive movepool
Shutting down Celesteela, skarm, foretress, and scizor is reason alone to run the beast
