Why does it have Levitate?

Carnivine is a very strange Pokemon. I think the only reason I remember it is because of the anime, which is a shame, because venus flytraps are inherently cool

I think that Carnivine should be given a unique move

"Snap Shut"

Grass type move that's super-effective against Bug-types, traps them in battle for a few turns and does continual damage, like Infestation

New ability would be cool, something like;
Adhesive Maw: Grass type contact moves are super effective against Bug Pokemon and contact moves stop the Pokemon from swapping out.
Pokemon can still swap out if it has Run Away
