I was so surprised about the backlash over these back when they were revealed. I didn't care about Garbodor(thought Trubbish was cuter) but I thought the Vanillite line was cute. I guess the main issue people have is the concepts, but the idea of garbage mutating(?) and coming to life is pretty neat to me.

My only issue with Garbodor's design is the little puffy things at the top. Get rid of those and replace it with Trubbish's tie-ears, and I think it would look a little cooler.

The main issue people have with these mons is that they're from gen 5, which people like to hate on simply because it's the 'cool' thing to do. These mons and their lines are just the easiest targets. There's nothing wrong with anything from either line

I know people hate it when people base typings off color, but I always felt Garbador should of been a poison ground based on how much dirt that seemed to be in that bag. Maybe even a decomposition theme. Would of been nice to have access to earthquake and maybe stone edge for it.
