It's such a uniquely bizarre ability that its tough to tell what they were shooting for. Everything being solid except its ability would suggest its like Slaking or Archeops, but in truth it would probably just be okay if it had something harmless like Shell Armor, unlike the other two.

If Emergency Exit activated at the end of the turn rather than immediately he would be the GOAT Bug.

it's defensive stats are almost the same as mega scizor's. It has 125 attack which is great. it's speed is obvioulsy it's weak point, and it has priority to patch that up. The issue is that it is forced to ONLY use priority or risk being forced out.

I fucking HATE that golisopod is practically useless because of it

It needs speed to make Emergency Exit functional but since it has >40 speed it means you are forced to use priority to really function. If it was fast and can abuse Leech Life after it's first emergency exit as a pseudo U-turn user so it can scout well maybe it can go UU?

I honestly think you can play around it and sometimes use it to your advantage. you need a lot of support though. it's vertainly no pokemon you want to have sit around for long though.

I use it on RU with a choice band and mainly go for first impression, full attack full defense investment. if you'Re 100% certain opponent wil switch out, restore damage taken from rocks with leech life.

also you can directly switch it into attacks to puposely trigger emergency exit to get a free switch mid game without sacking anything. if you have some walls that can switch into a lot of it, it's probably the best revenge killer I can think of. choice band first impression OHKO's flygon after rocks for example, in fact it pretty much ohko's anything that isn't either super bulky, or resists it and even resits only have a few switch ins
