What's the general rule for in terms of IVs for legendary Pokémon? Are they always gurenteed one perfect 31 IV? Trying to inject legal moms into my SM games
They're guaranteed three, just make all of them perfect.
Minimum 3 on anything caught in or after gen 6. So no hidden power fighting on any legendary. Otherwise inject any event mons by injecting their wondercard, and soft resetting for nature, then fix their IVs to what you want it to be.

They always have three perfect IVs, so it is impossible to have certain Hidden Powers.
Therefor it's impossible to have stuff like HP Fighting Necrozma, and funnily enough it was legal for the longest time on Showdown despite this.
