What are all the shines you have?
Post the shiny, original game, and capture method.
My shinies:
Shiny Ditto Y Wondertrade
Shiny Fenniken OR Masuda
Shiny Charmander OR Masuda
Shiny Froakie OR Masuda
Shiny Loudred (Now Exploud) OR Random Encounter
Do you really want the full list of over 100 bred shinies?
No. No you don't.
>>32778478
i do
I only have a shiny scraggy, pumpkaboo, and slugma, all found in Y, the pumpkaboo bred and the slugma found in friend safari, both intentional
i find that shinies are more valuable to me when they're not bred but rather randomly found, so i don't SOS chain or whatever
Have a shiny Barboach sitting in Platinum.
Also hatched a Tangela in ORAS that I've evolved.

>Cyndaquil, OR, Masuda, 1800+ eggs
>all those IV hunted shinies
god bless you, anon
Only going to talk about what I've gotten in Gen 7 so far.
Won't include anything I've gotten from other players (trades, Wonder Trade, GTS).
2 Pikipek
1 Spearow
3 Zubat
2 Alolan Diglett
2 Bonsly
1 Caterpie
1 Alolan Raticate
1 Wingull
3 Trumbeak
1 Lillipup
1 Yungoos
1 Grubbin
1 Metapod
None of these were obtained through breeding or SOS. All encountered while just playing the game.
Only Pikipek, Spearow, the first Zubat and the first Alolan Diglett were encountered before I obtained the Shiny Charm.

I have like 150+ shinies. my rarest being a Colosseum Tyranitar
I've gotten all these shinies through every single method except PokeRadar, and since there's so many, I'd have to be very specific, so here's part 1/2 from my Notepad doc.
And 2/2.
>tfw you misspelled Bellsprout
>>32777411
I have almost 400 shinies
MMing is one hell of a drug
MM is a shit tier way of hunting.
>>32782237
Its an easy way to control IVs, natures and abilities so its my preferred method, although I can see why some wouldnt want to play bike/tauros simulator
>>32782268
For me, it's soft resetting, the best shiny hunt method.nothing like playing through an entire rpg while resetting for a pokemon
the three I have on the top of my head are
>Stantler from random encounter in HG
>Petilil from breeding (non MM) for a HP Fire lilligant in BW, stuck with HP rock
>Serperior from trying to breed for a HP fire contrarian snivy (Jap mother because that was the one that had HA), stuck with HP electric
don't have a count for either of the hatched ones, because I wasn't actively going for shinies
>>32782303
ORAS gets a lot of hate, but theyre great games for SRing shiny legendaries. Lots to get and short intro make the hunts bearable for me
>>32782390
>not SRing in Colosseum
I haven't gone out of my way to get any shinies in sun/moon, but I've managed to get rowlet, honedge, and eevee from just breeding for IV's. Also lucked out and found a wild shiny magby that was modest. Still working on getting them all to 100 to bottlecap them.
Also found wild pikipek and dugtrio., but with bad natures.
I have quite a few from FS but they stopped being satisfying.
Real men don't masterball anything, even shiny legendaries.
>>32784752
I want her to sit on me
>>32784752
Lucky.
I caught both Azelf and Uxie as Shinies back in Pearl, but I never managed to get Mesprit as a Shiny.
>>32785502
I got the rest of the trio shiny
>>32782418
I tried that for a while when I was younger, but stopped after someone claimed that the constant SRing of a Gamecube could damage it.
>>32785573
>not sring on Colosseum on the Wii
also it wont work if you saw the shadow pokemon already, an example being SRing the Raikou in Realgam Tower. It'll always be the same Raikou with the same nature/ivs when you catch it
>>32782237
As someone who likes to battle using only/mostly his Shinies, MM is the best way to get battle-worthy Shinies.
>>32785599
It's also the most boring method.
>spinning around like an idiot
>releasing box after box
>animation plays every single time
>you could just hunt it another way with a Synch and bottlecap it anyways unless it's a starter/needs an egg move
>>32785610
>you could just hunt it another way with a Synch and bottlecap it anyways unless it's a starter/needs an egg move
Sure, it's boring, but it works.
Most Pokemon need at least one Egg Move to be worth using, and bottle caps weren't a thing in the past.
I haven't done any Shiny breeding in Gen 7 yet.
Sandslash - random encounter in X, in Terminus Cave
Minun - random encounter in OR, on Route 110
Alolan Meowth - random encounter in Moon, by the Trainer's School while trying to get a Metal Coat
I've gotten a few shinies through Wonder Trade (Zekrom, Wailord, Stoutland, and Spinda), but only the Spinda felt even remotely legit (level 1, unremarkable IV spread). I ended up using the Zekrom to get a different Pokemon I needed for the dex.
I also encountered a shiny Zubat in Silver, but I can't for the life of me recall if I caught it or KO'd it on accident. I think the latter.
