I like it a lot. I don't have much art saved of it though.

Chimecho was part of my original Ruby team. She's sitting in my Sun Cartridge with a bunch of ribbons attached from all the games I've transferred up through. It's a cute little fucker, loved that they gave it a slight buff in SM.

>Dex is complete but one day I'm looking through my PC boxes and can't find Chimecho

Apparently Chimeco is based on some sort of Japanese spirit chime? And it's found on Mt. Pyre, so I've always wanted a Psychic/Ghost evo.

I think there's potential for quite a cool pokémon there. A spooky gong or bell-like creature could be neat. Remember Celestial Tower in Unova?

Anyway, I just don't know what it would evolve into.... I mean, tadpole -> poliwog -> frog is an obvious logical progression, but what's the obvious progression for Christmas bell -> wind chime -> ???.

Middling movepool marred by horrible stats.
Decent utility marred by poor defensive typing.
Decent aesthetics marred by needless rarity in its native gen and a pointless baby in the next.

Should have been the first of 2-3 stages, not the final evolution. Claydol from the same generation, even with its massive number of weaknesses and lack of power, has the typing to harmonize with Levitate, plus a non-generic utility pool, and is available from midgame.
