Is Gamefreak even competent enough to make an HD console game?

Anyone can make a HD console game. The question is actually if it'll be good. And I'd say it's about the same chances as XY or SM.

Not Game Freak but Genius Sonority did an alright job at modeling battle stadiums and trainers for the Wii without the system shitting itself, so I'm guessing GF can do a decent job too if they tried.
