And while flawed, ORAS was still fun to playthrough unlike fucking SM. ORAS could have been way better, same for XY, but both were still fun games. My main problem with both was the trainer levels being too low, without or without the Exp Share

Well, that's fairly typical of games within the same generation. But X/Y has more content than Emerald, just as OR/AS does. And since a lot of X/Y's content is in OR/AS, it makes sense.
