OP doesn't agree. He made some 50/50, some 87.5/12.5. Since he did that, he must have had some system for deciding this. If that system isn't making feminine one female and masculine ones male, I can't think of any other way to go about it.
And the fuck? You do realize feminine is a word that literally means female sex or gender, right? Sure, it has other meanings, so that would mean it doesn't equal female all the time, but it still equals female.

That has nothing to do with this, though. That's true WITHIN the species, but we're here comparing different species here together. That would make a larger Delcatty a female, while a smaller Delcatty is a male. But we're not comparing them. We're comparing a Delcatty to a Luxray. The size is irrelevant here, as they're two different species with two different average size.

Every pokemon should have a 50-50 gender ratio except for pokemon that can only be one gender (Nidoqueen, Tauros, Volbeat/Illumise, etc.) and gender unknown/genderless pokemon.
What always bothered me about the pokemon gender system more than the 87-12 to "prevent easy breeding" is how some mons are gender unknown and others that are arguably better candidates for that category aren't. For example:
>Ditto, Magnezone, Electrode, Metagross, Porygon, Cryogonal, Golurk, Shedinja, etc. all of them are gender unknown
Ok so at first sight it should seem that everything that isn't a conventional lifeform, a machine or a blob should be gender unknown. Fair enough. But then:

It just never made any sense to me.
