Only traveled on a highway through Denmark twice so I can't judge it well enough, but I love Norway. Beautiful country and wonderful people. I remember another time I was there seeing Utoya from a distance when 2 days later Breivik fucked the whole place up completely. I could sense the intense sadness from the people all around the country then understandably. As for Sweden I've never been there, but from what I understand it's basically a flat Norway with many trees.

Honestly, I would love to see a region based on the UK and about folklore and its Celtic roots, I actually planned some pokémon and ides for this, with a heavy base on the barren, tough Snowdonian mountains, as well as vibrant and Georgian cities like Bath, London could be a better Lumiose-style city, and there could be some real autumnal orange forests. It would be truly perfect with loads of ghost, fairy, grass, rock, ground and water type pokémon. If anyone is interested I'll try and find where I put the ideas (I made them about a year ago) - sorry if I come over as really passionate about this but a UK region is long overdue

I think Taiwan would be interesting and may be quite likely, at least likelier than mainland China anyway. Half of it is mountainous and the other half is mostly plains. There's a good number of cities, lots of landmarks (the Taipei 101 is probably the most famous), is small enough to be a whole region, is a fairly popular Japanese tourist location, and would be a way of delving into Chinese culture/themes without the politics of dealing with PRC.
