you design are really good, the carrot gun is a cool improve.

But now you other two need a gimmick, by example delphox have its wand, chesnaught its shield arms, greninja its water shuriken, decidueye its arrows, etc

Maybe made water weapons for the snail or a water-bubble helmet as a gladiator

For the deer, I think that some druid spell, summon grass creatures, giant trees, made a golem of plants

Stoworm (Water/Rock) -> Wellurm (Well form(Rock), True form(Water/Dragon))

Well form is basically a defensive disguise, True form is the main body, the problem is conveying that the true form is both a limbless water dragon (wyrm) and that it has a poisonous core (Still unsure about it after a few design iterations)

I just made these up, don't have names for them yet but... the little squid thing has a split evo and only evolves if traded holding an "Ink Bottle" during the day/night. kind of like espeon/umbreon.

I think the designs of this evolutionary line are more inspired by 20s cartoon characters, where animators used to animate them traditionally and use ink to "color" in the characters and backgrounds. Felix the Cat is an example of this.

The character's faces do like something out from Steven Universe, though. And I'm not a fan of the designs from that show.

yup right on point, i based them off golden age cartoons and the whole "Ink" theme which is why the first evo i made to sort of resemble a squid. since ink can be anything (rorschach test) it made sense to have them all be completely different creatures (a squid, a dog, a devil)

the "steven universe" faces is completely coincidental though haha

You can tell that most, if not all, of that Dex is made by Sprite splicing. Gazeoth is just a Leafeon body blacked out with some extra details tacked on, Gorgolith is Regirock with a Golem head, Naiaide has a Chimchar body, Obobulate has a Banette head, Spinda eyes, and Dusknoir/Dusclops hands. Brawlalil and Fytalot are literally Machop and Machoke with different heads.
