I remember I got Sun/Moon and played it blind.

Caught an Adamant Rockruff very early on and evolved it into Midnight Lycanroc.

Boy, did that thing suck major ass. I kept it throughout my entire playthrough, and I don't think it ever did anything of note for me. I knew it was going to end up in NU or worse.

I used Day form in my ingame run and it was one of the things that made me regret getting Sun instead of Moon

There were other reasons i regretted getting the game period but after playing with Midday I definitely knew I made a mistake

Really that's what I'd do for most alola mons.

Give Midday Intimidate, boost attack to 120. Have it learn Drill Run, Flare Blitz, and U-Turn.

Give Midnight Close Combat, Dynamic Punch, Accelerock, U-Turn and Close Combat. Also give it 120 attack and +10 in both defenses.

Not a competitive player and night was fun ingame for me/battle tree.

Gonna echo everyone else though. Give these things some freaking coverage moves.

Rock/Ground, learns EQ and Spikes and shit. A shitty defensive type combination doesn't matter very much when you're fast and can hit hard. See: Weavile if it actually had an ability.
Also, I really want a fast Rock/Ground-type.
