dragonite is cool, well-rounded, gen 1 (and therefor bonus points for me), hard to get, can use all sorts of moves, and is a dragon

metagross is just cool

but I'll say hydreigon, because he looks cool, he's strong, and he's the only reason I ever fainted while playing through black (he was the last of ghetsis's pokemon, and I couldn't figure out it's types)

Salamence is my favorite solely on the basis of lore. Bagon essentially do what would be suicide for most by throwing themselves off of cliffs trying to fly, and evolved(the more real world sense, not becoming Shelgon) really hard heads in the process. Shelgon will sit still in a cave and starve itself to become stronger, somehow not dying without any food or water in its time as a Shelgon. Then... It happens.

Through sheer willpower, Shelgon was able to mutate its cells and sprout wings, becoming Salamence. It likes to destroy stuff like basically every other pseudo at the time, but there's also a happy component where it flies in the air doing loops in joy and spewing fire. Then, when it mega evolves it is able to fly non-stop and can fully capitalize on its flying typing, essentially the fullest realization of its long held dream.

I like Metagross more in basically every other way especially since I'm tired of all the dragon type pseudos, and Garchomp is more useful to me, but Salamence wins me over on lore alone. Plus, it was the first traditional dragon pokemon pumped out and was actually dragon type, not including Rayquaza.

But I oddly have no real connection to Pseudos.
While Goodra and Dragonite are a bit goofy in their looks, namely from the eyes, I've don't really like most Pseudos. It's an akward thing of them being so designed for cool that they don't stand out much, I suppose.

I had a shining tyranitar card as a kid, bent it, got super upset and my dad let me buy a pack. It took me a little while to decide which one I wanted. The one I picked ended up having another shining tyranitar. He wasn't an initial favorite but he was strong and did well when weather was a big thing. He also paired well with my other favorite dusclops because of fighting types. His usefulness and that stroke of luck is the reason he's my favorite

It's a tie between Garchomp and Tyranitar. I know that's faggy but there's just so much going for both of them. The fact they have good team synergy is just icing on the cake.

Initially I was very against Kommo-o, mostly for the quadruped-to-biped meme occurring yet again. He's grown on me a little since then.
