Honestly, for what it's worth, Ash would make a pretty good husband in the future, when the series runs it's course and the writers finally stop drugging his food with anti-ageing products.
Give him the ability to grow, learn and develop without having to reset him every season and you'd have a ridiculously strong trainer. He has the potential, at least. But we all know that's not going to happen
