What type is the worst and what is the best?

There are no good or bad types, the representation the types get is what defines them.

Rock, Grass, and Ice get shit fucking treatment, so it's easy to see them as some of the "worst" types. Likewise, Water and Dragon in particular get really good, distinct treatment.

Depends entirely on the meta, I wouldn't say Rock types are bottom tier in that regards by any means. We have Tyranitar, Gigalith, and Aerodactyl who have done well in the past. I'd say Grass struggles the most competitively, while Ice suffers defensively but can do pretty well offensively.
