Reddit is better than 4chan depending largely on what you want to discuss. I find it easier to talk about TTRPGs on Reddit, because /tg/ has a tendency to fellate GURPS no matter what the discussion is, or shit all over D&D with similar disregard. The Pokemon subreddit is awful, though.

Also a lot better when you need help for something technical, once i thought i had bricked while fucking around with my hacked 3DS, i went to the hacking general in /vg/ and asked if someone knew what i did wrong and how to fix it, the only replies i got were assholes mocking me for fucking up and and saying how my 3ds was fucked beyond repair.
Right when i was about to give up and throw my 3ds to the garbage i decided to see if the people at the 3ds hacking subreddit knew if there was a way to fix my 3ds and in 2 replies i got a solution, turn out i just needed to update an old hacking software and my 3ds was back to normal.
