Ok faggots, all of you seem to complain that every evil team after Rocket had retarded plans. Let's see you better.

Come up with your own evil team and their main goal. Feel free to include details such as whether the leader is manipulating the grunts e.g. Flare, or what have you.

>Hard Mode
Can't be similar to Team Rocket
>>
convince every trainer in the world to be unique and karenfag
use legendaries and strong pokemon to dominate everyone
>>
>>32729187
Convince young trainers that they can be Champions by buying training items that does nothing and escape while keeping their money or BPs.
>>
>>32729187
Team Shekel
Their plan is to awaken a Legendary Pokemon and threaten the region, then they sell products of their research to a strong trainer, they hire a crew to film the final battle, the strong trainer wins and their equipment takes the credit, the marketing is off the charts and they get rich
>>
>>32729187
How about evil teams that are tied to the region's lore? I had this idea of an evil team that wanted to revive Alola's monarchy because they want to...uh...make Alola great again.
>>
>>32729187
Holy shit op's pic really rock(et)s
RGBY grunt and GCS's male one expecially, I like the feeling they give
>>
>>32729187
>every evil team after Rocket
Rocket sucked especially. Giovanni literally gave his entire organization up because some child won over him IN A GYM BATTLE. A battle that is completely irrelevant to him and Team Rocket entirely. "I'm gonna quit my multi-millionaire job because I lost a battle". What a fucking sore loser.

Also
Team Plasma would've been great if Ghetsis hadn't pulled a Team Rocket.
>>
>>32729187
The problem is that every evil team had to be blatantly evil so the kiddies can spot them being the bad guys on Route fucking 1. Team Galactic, Plasma and Flare all had potential to be great evil teams that respectively would've used philosophy (making a better world), morals (Pokémon slavery) and cold hard truths (humans are inherently bad and we're destroying the planet we live on) to argue for their actions. But instead we got "hurr durr the evil team leader was just another generic evil liar who wanted to rule the world afterall" time and time again. At least Maxie, Archie and Lusamine were different. And yet their grunts were still generic criminals. But that's probably the closest we'll ever get to have a proper evil team anyway..
>>
>>32729496
My point being, no matter what evil team we come up with, they would always be dumbed down for the kiddies if they were actually realized in the games.

>team name
Team Distant Paradise

>boss
Large Leader

>raison d'être
Large Leader objects to the use of Pokémon as tools for trainers, organizations and national entities to fight each other with. He and his followers want to create an independent nation where Pokémon are free from use as fighters in proxy battles and can participate in society as they please. In reality, he himself is using the Pokémon under him as proxy warriors to achieve his organization's goals. People join the Team because Large Leader is a super-charismatic legendary trainer and they are honored to serve him.

after a mind-numbing amount of plot twists, it turns out that Large Leader isn't actually evil, he simply misinterpreted his late mentor's philosophies. Of course, the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and you have to sort out his shit regardless.
>>
>>32729496
an evil team talking about philosophy, morals and cold hard truths in a child game will always be cringeworthy. Giovanni, Maxie, Archie and Lusamine are already better because they don´t talk about that shit
>>
>>32729187
Workin on a game and one of the evil teams is modifying pokemon with technology effectively turning them into weapons to sell to the highest bidder.

>Team Squadron

>Ranks:
Squadron Grunt
Squadron Researcher
Squadron Officer
Squadron Commander -----
Squadron Boss -----
Squadron Overboss -----

>Theme
Overcoats and rubber boots. Some wear stylized helmet/hats. Officers and above have gym badges on their coats. The Overboss wears a much simpler, more casual outfit.

>Motivation:
Overboss commands the entire operation from the shadows, even though it seems like the Boss is in charge for most of the story. Team Squadron uses pokemon like weapons of war with little empathy or understanding.

Their end goal is supposed to be "Capturing the entire island," but the Overboss reveals that this was just a diversion. The Overbosses real goal was to frighten away the gym leaders and replace them with undercover Squadron members, making it so that impressionable ten year olds would be indoctrinated into Squadron. Since the strongest trainers are inevitably children, the Overboss planned to create an entire network of super-powerful trainers loyal to the Team so that they could begin forging an entirely new country while crushing any resistance.

The grunts don't understand this, and just want to get back at the people they don't like. The Commanders are only in it for the power, so when they realize how miserable the Overbosses' goals really are, they switch sides and help the protagonist near the end.

Bonus points: Lt. Surge drops by for a double battle against the Commanders at one point. He doesn't want war to return to a peaceful world.
>>
Instead of a whole new Team, just do what that old manga did and have like 4-5 of the Gym Leaders and Elite Four turn out to be evil.

So, instead of a huge team with grunts and such, the player has to face several wicked individuals with more detailed personalities and motivations.

Also, after the "team" is defeated, all the rogue gym leaders and elite four members are replaced with better people the protagonist met along the way, and the player can choose to fight the gyms and elite four all over again with the new replacements.

But Rockets WERE reatrded. Making money on stealing Pokemon just doesnt make any sense if they're around every fucking corner and it would be easier to catch them instead of stealing it. And for all we know they were stealling very random mons, nothing really crazy rare or valuable

Fun fact: Team Flare was the actually catching mons on their own and guess what they were rich. Really makes you think huh.

Corrupt Mega Corporation.

Initially undercut the market putting traditional PokeMarts out of business. Once the competition is gone they hike up prices and create artificial demand for things like potions, pokeballs, etc. By cornering the market on nearly all goods in the Pokemon world the team gains a lot of influence and power. They have the outward appearance of trying to help people and pokemon but only care about money and power.

The protagonist would use berries, revival herbs, and apricorns (to make pokeballs) throughout the adventure until the team is taken down.

Grunts would appear cheery and helpful until you get in their way.

Admin would be more serious and scheming.

The leader would be charismatic and a bit charming but ultimately a greedy, self serving, ego maniac.

Dunno about a name for the team though. Probably _______ Corporation just for something a bit different.

generally speaking, trained Pokémon are more valuable than wild Pokémon.

Giovanni wasn't poor either, his business plan apparently works in some shape or form.

Team Alliance
(Or something similar to that)

They're led by a native to whatever region this takes place in. The entire team is made up of wayward members of the other teams that were beaten, Rocket, Magma/Aqua, Galactic, Plasman, Flare, etc. etc. Basically, any grunt who didn't know what to do with themself after their team fell apart, or any grunt who managed to break out of (pokemon jail?) joined up with this new team.

Their leader offered them a new sense of purpose as Alliance members. The grunts all wear new outfits, but are allowed to have a stripe or something on their uniforms that identifies them as a previous Rocket/Magma/whatever member so they can have a bit of pride in whatever they did last.

The team's four lieutenants are made up of previous members too. Two were grunts from Aqua and Galactic that got named and promoted in the new team. The other two could be returning lieutenants from the previous games, now a bit older and part of Alliance.

I guess their goal is to take over the world or some shit, or maybe it's just to get even with everybody else in general.

I just like the idea of the """""last""""" game in the series having a team comprised of all the other teams, led by a new villain.

Plus, I love talking to grunts after beating them. It would be fun for some to mention their times back in Hoenn or Sinnoh, or making a remark of what life under their previous boss used to be like.

Plus, it would allow for some really diversified teams used by the bad guys. Previous Aqua members have water pokemon, whereas previous Rocket members use dark in conjunction with their new mons. Stuff like that.
>>
>>32729187
Team Robin

They use Pokemon to steal from the rich but also give a cut to the poor just like Robin Hood.

They wear black or green uniforms always topped with jade hoods.

Their ranks are:

Robin Grunt: Basic shocktroop
Robin Hunter: Researcher
Robin Breeder: Breeds pokemon for use.
Robin Vanguard: Elite grunts.
Robin Commander: Admins
Robin Hood: The boss of the team abandons his name and goes by Robin Hood so long as he holds the position. He always wears a mask.

They use primarily Grass and Ghost types. Also they use more regal pokemon such as Arcanine and Alolan Ninetales. Robin Hood must always have a Decidueye.

Team Robin believe the rich are unfairly priviledged and society is structured inhumanely. They seek to fix this by summoning and controlling a legendary pokemon to take down the Pokemon League, taking the authority to fix society.

Lab Meta
A machine was successfully made to clone Pokemon, the scientists there have a goal to optimise everyones team, they analyse different battle strategies and structure teams around single and double battles, their specialty is their absolute lack of Pokemon diversity, have fun beating 300 copy pasted stall teams
>>
>>32729187
Team Alpha
A genius trainer, who once was a respectable scientist lost to the Elite 4. The large distance between powers drove him desperate for help and train, so he decided to fight other Elite 4 aspiring trainers in order to become stronger. As time passed, he started to get older, and soon gave up on his dream, not many were the worthy trainers passing by. On one day, a young trainer challenged him, the young trainer's pokemon were really weak compared to him, but he accepted the challenge. The outcome, despite obvious, put the young trainer in a good mood, as he kept smilling about it. The scientist, now older than his old days, asked the kid if he wanted to become stronger, as the kid replied, he got excited about it, and started blallantly spouting nonsense after nonsense about teams and how they could become the strongest team just like the Elite 4.
The scientist, upon listening to the kid's idea, decided to found a Team, team Alpha, a team dedicated to help trainers in their growth thowards the pokemon league. This team caused a big problem to the pokemon society, as its methods of training were effective and the Elite 4 had suddenly lots of champion candidates. This made so that the Elite 4 system was shut down. Because of that there was nobody that could stop the thirsty challengers who kept being addicted to winning, and therefore a part of Team Alpha, who got crazy for the power of fighting, with no regards to what happened to the other pokemon or theirs, formed a new Team. Team Delta was born from that point, and as it kept going their pokemon kept becoming more insane, sharing the same traits as their users. Aspiring trainers joined Team Delta to become stronger, but eventually their methods had their brains washed.
Team Alpha lost their members, only remaining the scientist and the kid, who decided to dedicate themselves at making a new world system instead, so that there could be a way to decide the authority of the pokemon world.

I wanna add more to this.

I think if something like it were implemented, a second team would be a good idea too. They'd oppose the corporation, obviously, and initially appear as the antagonists. Maybe this second team would try to find/summon the regional legendary because they think it'll break the Corporation's hold on the region.

This team would be like a group of rebels, much more casually dressed and support the small vendors that sell herbs, berries, etc. to trainers.

At a certain point the player could learn the truth about both sides and have to help the rebel team. Maybe even another little twist where the region legendary was misinterpreted and it could threaten some kind of destruction that forces the player, the corporation, and the rebels to join forces, etc. etc. and eventually open up regular marts/grant access to the other items.

Just spitballing, obviously.
>>
Team Dynamo

A faction of scientists, philosophers, and power players banded around the idea that the current dependence on Pokemon is actively retarding human advancement and further development as well as harboring a resentment to being mere onlookers to a world actively shaped and guided by the powers within those monsters.

No blatantly evil team, just two misguided organizations who are negatively influencing the local trainer culture.

Nice shot.
>>
Rival pokemon league that has legitimate issues with the established league but has members that are over zealous and their plans interfere with the main character's journey causing conflict regardless of whether the main player agrees with the core tennants of the new league or not.
Large amounts of the team members would be poorly organized schlubs that rarely know what they're talking about or truly supporting but support the "team" nonetheless because they want to feel like super heroes that know better than everyone else.

Team leader would be a charismatic demagogue that rallies the masses around shallow, idiotic issues while essentially puppeteering the new league just to suit his own endeavors. At the end of the journey when the team leader is defeated it's a bittersweet success since the team had high ideals and good ideas but sadly let themselves be lead by an incompetent jackass.
