Did they choose to save it as a selling point for USM or is the 3DS incapable of controlling two different character models simultaneously? Sometimes, the models are larger legendaries.

Walking pokemon are a cute and should be included as an (optional) feature in all games, I really hope they make a comeback in USM but I'm not too optimistic.

They had walking and running animations for all 802 Pokemon unused in SM.

Considering all the pikachus and the wingull in the trailer they are definetly going to have more low poly pokemon doing stuff in the overworld probably with the walking animations, the question is how many since slowpoke and pikachu already had low poly models on SM.
