How would a pokemon stadium 3 work in this day and age?

At least in terms of how battles look. Because if I remember correctly Stadium was literally just a battle simulator with 3D models of all current Pokémon at the time. Same thing as X & Y, but XY just had better polished models.

Pokken-tier Pokémon models and more advanced move animations, many custom per Pokémon.

It would sell just fine. Bonus points if it has "events" like the Electivire and Magmortar from PBR.

It'd need utterly mind blowing graphics and a ton of fun additional content/minigames.
Also stellar online.

Battle Revolution wouldn't work, too bare bones to really differentiate it from the core games battle systems.

Would much rather see Colosseum and XD though.

As a side thing, i'd love to see "Breath of the Wild" but Pokemon one day.
