What's everyone see in Emerald, anyway? I've always, and still do, preferred the original Ruby and Sapphire.

Don't get me wrong, the Battle Frontier and expanded dex were a lot of fun to go through once. But the animations and random phone calls and Scott interruptions messed the pacing up a lot, the routes felt way too cramped with the sheer number of trainers crammed into each one, and the lack of fighting a Legendary during the main story made it feel very anti-climactic.
