Everything that beat it in Gen 6 is still good (Megacham, Megaman, Keldeo, Ice Beam Greninja, Manaphy), plus Tapu Bulu now can switch in and make it completely incapable of getting kills for 5 turns (max Atk Adamant EQ isn't a guaranteed OHKO on bulky Heatran in Grassy Terrain).

Everything that walled it in Gen 6 (Tangrowth, Ferrothorn, Skarmory, M-Venusaur, Rotom-W) still wall it, plus now we have Fini and Celesteela. Zapdos doesn't even run HP Ice commonly.

It's just versatile enough to fit on any team while being beatable by any team. It's not "overly centralizing" - you don't have to do anything special to your team to specifically beat it, mons with a variety of other uses can take care of it no problem.

Tyranitar has never left OU. Sand makes it bulky as fuck and it still hits satisfyingly hard.

Zygarde loses another check and gets banned.
Garchomp loses its bets counter and becomes top 3.
Dugtrio has two less Pokemon it can't trap, pushing it even higher into the metagame.
TTar+Drill rises significantly. Sand becomes among the best team types.
Mega Mawile becomes S rank.
Stall increases in strength with the last viable anti-stall rocker leaving the tier.

Game is literally dominated by a bunch of Fairies, Garchomp, and the Greninjas, all of which barely have checks except for eachother. Stall rises to the top as one of the last ways to deal with offense in the tier.

There aren't a significant amount of raises due to the top cut completely flattening all of the lower tier mons viability due to their lack of checks. Beedrill is one of the few low-usage mons that would see a usage increase.

Grass/Fairy-type makes it the only Tapu with x4 weakness, and the Grass-type in general. Ironically is the hardest-hitting Tapu with 130 Attack, Wood Hammer, Grassy Terrain boosting Wood Hammer by x1.5, and Grassy Terrain also healing by 1/8 of Max HP.
