The dialogue and narrative is terrible. Just because there's a lot of it doesn't mean it's good.

You don't need ADHD to get sick of poor dialogue and characterization. Anyone with some standards and who has played some actual story games would roll their eyes at SM.

This. I usually enjoy story based cut scenes in games when they are needed or at an important juncture in the narrative. But screw SM because of the cutscenes. I beat sun and a couple months later played moon. I can't play because every 5 min is a scene longer than the reveal of Ultra Sun/Moon
