I like Ultra Solgaleo better than the regular version.
Ultra Lunala is alright, but the Popeye arms look really awkward.
Both of them are an improvement over Necrozma.

also why would they buff the already strong coverlegendaries, when Necrozma is the one that needs a buff?

It may just be the angle but they both look pretty awkward. Solgaleo isn't too bad but Lunala is awful.

Turning Necrozma into an armor is a fine - albeit odd - idea, but do they seriously have no other place to put those arms on? As it is, it's very out of place.

Kind of Guzzlord having arms on its tongue. This is supposed to make them look weirder like the other UBs. Not defending it as a good design, but I think looking strange is intentional.

I don't think literally any one saw it coming. The only Necrozma theory I saw before yesterday was "look at it, it obviously transforms into a dragon head!" Thank god that didn't turn out to be true.
