ehh Braixen was worth it so I'm fine with buying it again. What pisses me off though is how they held back the DLC fighters that were released in arcades for Switch. I'm all for the Switch version getting brand new content, but hold back content that was released almost a year ago is really scummy.

This for me. I like Smash 4, 3d World, Pokken, Bayonetta, and other but when most of the library is first party games with no third party support and even the first party support has year long dry spells its shit. Wii U is overall my least favorite of the nintendo consoles.

Honestly, I'm disappointed in the switch version, so no. I probably won't even get it on switch.

Adding 5 new pokemon - 4 of which we knew about - isn't enough for me to pick it up again. Now if it were 10 new fighters, 5 more stages, maybe 15 new support sets, then maybe.

I don't regret buying my Wii U. I got mine originally for 3D World and Mario Kart 8 back in 2014 and I got a lot of enjoyment out of it. And I want a Switch to play new games, not slightly improved versions of games I already have, which is why I'm not eager to get one right now. Maybe when Super Mario Odyssey comes out?

That being said, holding back the arcade characters to put them on a rerelease the following year (and a new console) when they could have easily been DLC is a scumbag move. Whenever I decide to get a Switch, I'll be sure to get Pokken Deluxe used.

I bought a WiiU just for Pokken and i'm hyped as hell.

I got 1400 hours on pokken just so far and got my money's worth. If this bothers you, then you probably never actually played Pokken seriously anyways and didn't put that much time and don't care about the longevity of the game.

Pokken needed this port to stay alive and active, Pokken's competitive scene and especially online matchmaking would be dead or dying in a year from now if not for this.

I don't regret buying Pokken because of the DX version specifically, though that is icing on the cake. I regret buying Pokken because it's a terrible game. I played it for about three days, pretty much forcing myself to play it after the first three hours. Even forcing myself to try and squeeze some juice out of that lemon, by the third day I couldn't do it anymore and I have no interest in ever playing that game again. It's not a good game.

The only way they could ever get me to buy or play Pokken again is by putting one of my several absolute favorites in the game. With enough fan service I could find some fun in it again. As it stands, the game really has nothing to offer me. I don't like it for it's gameplay, and the Pokemon fan service is meaningless to me when I can't actually play as any of my favorite Pokemon.
