Does anybody actually know someone who got banned?

Every couple of months we get a "NINTENDO JUST ANNOUNCED THEY'RE BANNING ALL HACKERS HAHA DIE IN HELL HACKERS" and yet I've never been banned, nor has anybody I know.

I'm pretty sure you've got to mess up pretty badly for injected Pokémon to actually be detectable in any way. As long as you do it right, injected Pokémon are, bit-for-bit identical to if they were authentic.
