Ability to pause and skip cutscenes. I'm actually a story fag so I'm going to watch all of it the first time, but I just want the option for when I replay it. I don't expect a battle frontier, but I do wish there were battle tree modes where I can do decent with just my story pokemon just like in gen 6 so that I can get the ev items easier and make competitive pokemon. getting battle points this gen was a pain when you were just starting out without any ev trained pokes

That's sort of what I meant. Like say you've caught and trained an azumarill. Then you can go to a registration office and register your own pokemon instead of some random mon.

Maybe even make it so certain areas can only be accessed by certain ride pokemon. (Like Azumiril is small enough to fit in certain caverns) or something. Or even have certain flying types that have an air mode similar to ORAS.

Personally I want HMs to just work like Z-moves work.
You can just give them to a pokemon and then take them off when you don't need it without taking up a move slot.
Like just a way to register a pokemon as a ride pokemon like you can the bike or something.

I feel a much better solution to Hidden Moves would be to simply give each pokemon a single (or four, doesn't matter) hidden move slots separate from their regular move slots. The whole pokemon ride things kinda breaks my immersion constantly. Would rather ride my own pokemon not some dick's tauros.

I want to ride pokemon without changing into that ugly outfit. I know having to model new poses for all the customization options is a lot of work, but come on gamefreak it's not like you don't have to money to make it happen.
Also i want a point tail hair style and some more hair colors. There were no decent shades of brown.
