Very dissapointed that they got all that Z content, Zygarde forms, the hype from the anime (XYZ ffs) and shoved into a corner of SM.

Kalos needed a third version or sequel, it feels unfinished to no end, we got no eternal Floette, no AZ, no Power Plant, nothing, just a barren game and a probably canceled third version.

It feels like they had planned more Gen 6 after ORAS, but due to the 20th anniversary they rushed SM out the door (with obviously cut content) and shoehorned all that Zygarde stuff in.
