The mobile stuff would cause the Japanese release to feel gutted, which is probably why they avoided it.

It's fine though because you're not missing out on anything by them not including crystal. (Save Ice Beam, Flamethrower and Thunderbolt tutors, but you have missingno in RBY for that.)

I would get it if there was Crystal. They included yellow, why not Crystal?

Bad news is Pokemon Transfer uses the wrong IV to calculate shinyness when transferring to Sun and Moon so your Shiny will be lost.

If transfer isn't updated at the same time Gold and Silver release, which it might not, then it could still happen.
Either way, the IV calculation will still be fucked. And the gender calculation as well possibly.
