Probably my least favorite set of starters, coming from a casual player who doesn't care about competitive. They're so ugly and uninteresting to look at even with all those extra, useless details added onto them. Pretty much the only designs I like are the base forms. Everything else is disappointing to me.

Sceptile. Even if he is bro-tier it's still only Grass type (a lot of weaknesses) and has low HP (75) and Defense (60) if i remember correctly.

Anywho gen 3 has very good starters despite that.

The only Sinnoh starter on par or better than Kalos ones is Infernape. Someone can try arguing that Delphox isn't that bad, that while Infernape is a masculine Pokemon, Delphox is just feminine. Not worse. But that would be a retarded thing to say. Delphox has a shit color scheme and a lot of ugly details, like ear hair and fur patches. Infernape is a clear winner here.
