Only XY direct was good

SM was very underwhelming

So the length of this Direct is about halfway between those of the Directs that revealed XY and SM. What could it be?

Could we assume they'll start up with another "Here's all the mainline games released" again, followed up by the reveal?

ORAS didn't get such fanfare when it was announced, all it had was a short teaser. Could we rule out DP remakes?

Way too early for Gen 8, so we can rule that out.

I can't imagine them putting up a Direct just for a spinoff or a VC release, unless it was something big to be released on Android/iOS.

I doubt it's Switch related since GF has made comments suggesting that any Switch content is still in an early dev stage.

I think it's either Kanto re-remakes, something iOS/Android-related, or something completely unexpected.
