Many people praise level-5 for their attention to detail in their games but I digress. If you look closely to the Yo-kai's models you can clearly see they are not as polished as most of the Pokémon models in recent games. That's due to the 3DS's native resolution

The actual models are pretty high-poly which is why the 3DS can't handle more than four on-screen at a time.

Meh.

I get that some people shoot their load all over great graphics. I get it. After playing 4k games on a great TV and a Playstation Pro, I see the appeal.

That said, good graphics and technical aspects don't make a great game great. Sure, those things can help but they aren't the only thing that makes a good game good.

Pokemon is a different thing altogether. Personally, I would not want realistic graphics or hyper stylized ones like in the OP screenshot.

Pokemon Go models are alright. I think a Switch Pokemon game would be good with high res models of what we already have. I wouldnt want to lose that cartoon-y nature the series has always used. It would be weird as fuck to see pokemon in a realistic style.
