Handheld fag here. Had a lot of fun with Zelda. I'm currently playing Disgaea 5 and MK8, the handheld mode is comfy as fuck. Not a problem if the next game is available on 3DS, I just want a Switch version. The screen is good, and being able to play console games anywhere is really satisfying.

why are you playing a game more than 4 hours outside?
>>32673973
Zelda Breath of the Wild, OpenWorld, last 3h
Pokemon Sun/Moon, 3h30-4H, OG 3DS
>>32673973
It has around the same as the 3DS
>>32673983
>doing sexual stuff with Hibiki
How dare you?
>>32673961
they'd be stupid to release it on 3ds again when they are fully aware they will lose sales (however small) to piracy.
Sun and Moon's dump gave the hacking scene a lot of publicity.
>>32673973
Disgaea 5 on the switch lasts more than 5h, MK8D lasts more than 4h. It's more than SM for the 3ds.

Tablets aren't gaming handhelds.
>>32674015
Which reminds me I need to charge my Switch.

>brand new 3ds model comes out this month
>not putting new pokemon game on 3ds
yeah no, piracy is a fraction of what these games sell. They don't care.
>>32674030
They're when they're dedicated systems.

>Switch version has triple and rotation battles back
>Entire idea is to make 3DS casual and Switch version "hardcore"

Yeah because SM totally isn't one of the best selling 3DS games. Piracy would only begin to affect things if it was on the level of the Dreamcast or PSP

To be fair I haven't played anything other than Zelda yet, but so far the battery life hasn't been an issue for me.
>>32673961
I am in complete agreement. Battery life isn't even an issue, I'm home most of the time I'm playing, anyway. But as for Nintendo, I've always been a handhelds player, with the exception of the Gamecube. Coming from the perspective of someone who has primarily played handhelds their whole life, the Switch is absolutely amazing. It has its share of faults, like the charge port and memory, but all in all it's a gem and it would be wise to include a main series Pokemon in the Switch library.
Sure, keep it on 3DS. It'll still sell just as well on both.

OH NO THE 3:30 I GET ON ZELDA ISN'T ENOUGH?
DESPITE BEING THE SAME I GOT WITH MY LAUNCH 3DS?
WHAT'S THAT, YOUR GAY AND USE MAX BACKLIGHT, MAX VOLUME(NO HEADPHONES), AND WIFI ON WHILE FAR FROM OUTLETS?
OKAY.
>>32674011
Except Sun and Moon sold better than both XY and ORAS, because of faggots like me who pirated the game and still bought both versions.

Android paid apps can be hacked.
What makes you think Switch won't eventually be reverse engineered?
>>32674083
SM sold as well as it did primarily because of the Pokémon GO spillover effect. It was released at a time that Pokémon was higher in the public consciousness than at any time since the late '90s.

>Tablets are portable and "held in your hands"
>Not Handhelds.
BE LE EPIN POCKETABLE MEME!
>>32674087
It will be eventually.
But not for a year even at best case, meaning Pokemon sales are mostly safe for now.
>>32673961
100% agree.
>>32674108
>pocket monsters
>can't fit in your pocket
What the fuck
>>32674146
The Switch can fit in a pocket tho
>>32674146
The monster balls are what's pocket-able, not the system.
>>32674159
This.
More importantly, you can fit GAME CONTROLLERS IN YOUR POCKET.
But fat guys, presumably wearing cargo pants, want to play the contrarian and say it can't be pocketed.
