ORAS was cool for seeing the world from a different perspective, but copying it over so straight forward meant the world felt fucking tiny. Copy the tiles of the routes over, but multiply them by like 1.3 or something so it still feels meaty.

Also, I dunno where all this fresh hate for Gen 4 came from. Is it just because it's new? In a couple years everyone will like it because they'll be busy hating on the Gen 5 remakes?

i dont think it'll be a d/p remake since ORAS came out not too long ago and there's pretty big gaps between remakes. Probably SM sequel or Kanto bullshit. a lot of people are saying its just RBY on smartphones and if that's all it is i'll be disapointed.
