On one hand, I'm glad she missed the hit-and-miss evolutions of gen 4. On the other hand, she's my gen 1 sis and I wish she had something that made her more viable.

I think it does a good job considering it was a gijinka of jynx. The color scheme is there as well as the dress that touches on the original design, the veil was a nice way of bringing in the old non purple jynx and the black fingers on the gloves tied in the concept for me. I will give you that with jynx the lips are its major characteristic so the cosplayer doesn't deliver there and her hair could be straighter. But thinking she doesn't evoke the original design is like thinking pic related doesn't either.

Fighting/Phsychic or Ice/Fighting?

Just took a look at Jynx anime appearences. I knew her debut episode with Santa Claus was banned, but I had no idea that a Jhoto episode starring her was also banned. That episode happened to be the anime debut of Furret too, how unfortunate.
Seeing how much money and resources 4kids wasted editing minor stuff in so many animes back in the day, I wish they would have painted Jynx purple in this one so we could have had it.
