You don't just defeat a Champion to take the title. You have to defeat the E4, then defeat the Champion and register in Hall of Fame, all in one go, without any time to rest, heal or change Pokemon. Hilbert beat E4, took a stroll through a fucking castle, changed up his team, HEALED his team, caught a new fucking Pokemon, a fucking Legendary at that, healed one more fucking time, and THEN challenged the Champion. If you think that's all fair, you really need to play a Pokemon game before posting.
